Rockets, Roses and Pretty Poses

Well, the Gardners are living up to their name for the first time in year's (okay, ever) over here. We've been wedging yard work in between the numerous staged photo shoots this week and weekend. The bigger news, of course, is that Rowan got to see her first Rocket's playoff win on Saturday. Mama's not on board yet, but I very clearly heard her say, "Yao!" this afternoon, and I'm claiming that as her first word. I'm betting she says, "T-Mac!" before halftime tonight. So precocious, and such a fan. Now that she's rockin' her new official Rocket's gear courtesy of Ed and Nicole, I really don't think the Mavs stand a chance.

So enjoy the healthy update, and all apologies for the delay Brother.

One can't help but notice that that logo seems to be blasting off.

Some people pay for this stuff; we just shake out the old bed sheets and start clicking. Course it helps when the subject is so agreeable.

Could you open your eyes a little wider please? Perfect....

Could you repeat that?

Try comparing this to a similar San Francisco pic from a few weeks ago. Same size diaper, super-sized baby.

So classic

Rolling down that long dusty road...

Well, Rowan had the travel bug this weekend. Friday she met Jimbo and Grandy in Boerne for dinner. Saturday, she did some flippin' and floppin' at Cousin David's 5th birthday party at the gym in Georgetown, and while she was there she figured she'd check in on Cousin Daniel at SU. As you can imagine, she was pretty wiped out Sunday. That's a lotta miles for a little girl.

I'm coming up!

Actually, i just caught her there. She flipped up all on her own. Bit of a prodigy really.

Trains and Trios

Big baby party and a bit of first train fun this weekend. Unfortunately, we never did get a cute picture of her this week. I guess these will just have to do.

Big Beautiful Weekend

Sunday was a particularly fabulous day, beginning with a picnic with the Gerbers at Pedernales State Park and winding down with a baby and doggie jamboree at Scott and Colleen's new digs. Hard to top a day like this.

Is it just me, or is she radiating?
