Madi, Wisco

We trekked up to the surprising beauty of Madison, WI this weekend for Boonita's wedding and had a blast. We weren't too good at toting the camera on our many excursions, but here are some shots of the Madison Children's Museum and the reception. Rowan was a trooper of a traveller and had a blast crusing the town in her stroller, gawking at the cheese-ified farmer's market, and shaking her diaper on the dancefloor. We can't say much for the many cold days of the year, but April in Madison is pretty amazing. Who knew?

First Festival

We borrowed the RV, grabbed Sister Riley, Brother Jon, and Cousin Elly and headed out for the 19th annual Old Settler's Music Festival this weekend. We even got appearances from Mimi, Poppy, and Uncle Scott. Rowan was a trooper, and if the two thousand people who grabbed us are to be believed she's the cutest baby in the world. We, of course, would never say something like that ourselves.

Many thanks to the Stewarts for the exquisite accomodations and the Gerbers for the magic wristbands. Looking forward to next year!

Easter and more

Easter at Mimi and Poppy's today. We fired up the traditional Easter sprinkler. Rowan moved into her own house this week too, but we were surprisingly okay with it.

You still out there?

Oka, so it's been over a month. Part of it's just that we're busy, and part of it is that the Man blocked me from the blog at work. What, you thought this was all for you? Anyway, all apologies for the exhorbitant delay. Hope this flood of pics from recent excursions (most notably to Robbie's Rocky Roost in Rollinsville, CO) helps to make up for lost time.
