Is it summer?

A dip in the Comal, a pool party, an outdoor concert at the River Pub, and a lake party? All in three days? Yeah, it must be summer!

Ladies and gentlemen, please don't forget to check your pockets before you wash

A Week of Firsts or The Good, The Bad, and the Sickly

She did it all for the first time this week: she laughed out loud (for minutes on end Monday, and then not again since), she stuck her foot in her mouth, she survived a prolonged fever, and she taught her parents the very clear difference between spit up and throw up. Yep, the girl was feeling a little under the weather during the latter half of the week, but she's bearing it well. The outdoor pics are Sunday evening, so she can't be all that bad. We'll let you know when the giggles come back. I have a hunch they'll be back in full force sometime in June, when Genevieve returns. Ain't nobody quite so funny as Loca Aunt Gen.

Pics like this make it hard to argue that she doesn't pose

Did I ever tell you the one about the hippie and the cowgirl?

Summer in the air

Just your ordinary, run-of-the-mill week of unbearable cuteness around these parts. We took a trip to the lake with Riley, Elly and Juan, but otherwise the pictures speak for themselves. Happy Sunday folks!

She's a better and better sitter-upper these days

Babies are really in this summer. I think everyone will be wearing them. Especially slobbery babies.

And the hits just keep on coming here at KREG. Here's a new one, "You Gotta Be Kidding Me, That's One Ridiculously Cute Baby In a Bath Towel" by the Sha-Na-Nas

Mother's Day Week

You ever do something absolutely ridiculous and wonder how you pulled it off? Maybe you sink a basket from beyond half-court. Maybe you ask for a ludicrous raise and get it. Maybe you pick a single number out of the blue, bet a grand at the roulette table and hit it. Whatever it may be, you are absolutely sure it wasn't talent or skill that made it happen; it was just crazy luck. It's a strained analogy, but that's kinda how we're looking at the girl these days. We ain't uglies, but there's no way you put the two of us together and come up with something as cute as her. You'll see what I mean when you scroll (yeah, as if you read this first.)

In more practical news, she went to the Doc Friday and clocked in at 17 lbs. 13 oz. Frankly, we thought she was 20 plus. She's 26.5 inches, which makes her exactly as long and just an ouce heavier than her daddy was at 4 months. She's working hard at sitting up on her own, and she rolls from her tummy to her back like it's nothing. Thanks for the recent comments folks. We weren't sure if you all were still out there.

PS> The wallet-size is on the way Boonita. You see how that works folks? We're quite accomodating.

Maybe the 4th or 5th best pic from today's photo shoot. Is that a tease or what?

Ill-prepared

You know, we usually have it together these days (which, you have to admit, is a bit of a surprise). This week however, not so much. Either we went places without a camera, or we took a camera full of dead batteries. So the point is, we didn't have a "first picture" this week until mere hours ago. All apologies for the long delay, but as you see it's...

...worth waiting for.
